Labour Chowks - Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using Labour Chowks, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.
2. Services Provided
Labour Chowks is a platform that connects blue-collar workers with potential employers. Workers can browse and apply for jobs, while employers can post job listings and hire workers through the platform. Labour Chowks does not employ workers directly nor guarantee any job placements.
3. User Accounts
- Account Creation: To access certain features of the app, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities conducted under your account.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
- Account Termination: Labour Chowks reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in any unlawful activities.
4. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile and job postings.
- Compliance with Laws: You agree to use the Labour Chowks platform in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws.
- No Misrepresentation: You shall not misrepresent your identity, skills, or qualifications when using the app.
- No Exploitation: Employers agree to treat workers fairly and compensate them according to the agreed-upon terms.
5. Job Listings and Applications
- Employer Responsibilities: Employers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of job postings, including job details, wage information, and job duration. Employers must also comply with labor laws and other regulations governing the employment of workers.
- Worker Responsibilities: Workers agree to perform the job tasks to the best of their ability and in accordance with the terms agreed upon with the employer.
- No Guarantee: Labour Chowks does not guarantee job placement, wage levels, or employment duration. All agreements are strictly between the worker and the employer.
6. Payments
Labour Chowks does not process payments directly between employers and workers. All financial transactions and wage payments are the responsibility of the worker and the employer. We encourage both parties to clearly agree on payment terms before starting any job.
7. Prohibited Activities
When using Labour Chowks, you agree not to:
- Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive behavior.
- Post false, misleading, or inappropriate job listings.
- Use the app to harass, abuse, or discriminate against others.
- Interfere with the security, operation, or integrity of the app.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or personal information.
8. Intellectual Property
The Labour Chowks app, its content, and associated materials are the intellectual property of Labour Chowks and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from the app without prior written consent from us.
9. Data Privacy

- Any loss of wages, business opportunities, or employment.
- The conduct of other users on the platform.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Labour Chowks, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the app, including but not limited to any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
